Finally getting the girl of your dreams; what could possibly go wrong?
Seventeen year old Patrick Connolly has been hopelessly infatuated with Nualla for years but he is all but invisible to her. Until, that is, he rescues her from a confrontation with her ex. Little does Patrick know he’s just set off a dangerous chain reaction that will thrust him into a world of life altering secrets and things that shouldn’t exist, because the fog and mist of San Francisco is concealing more than just buildings.
A deliriously captivating and exhilarating romantic roller coaster full of unexpected twists and an ending you won’t see coming.
My thoughts:
I had so much fun reading Daemons in the Mist. It wasn't exactly what I had expected but I mean that in the good way! It took me by surprise with how complex and fascinating it was. It's not a short book but every page felt important and I savoured each one. This novel is much more than just a beautiful cover. It delivers a fantastic story that really, really impressed me! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to any paranormal romance fans.

I love the first sentence of this book's description because it sums up the entire novel quite well. Finally getting the girl of your dreams; what could possibly go wrong?

The answer is a lot as Patrick Connolly soon finds out! Patrick couldn't have predicted the dramatic turn his life would take the day beautiful and mysterious Nualla suddenly realizes he exists. I was captivated by this story from the beginning. I loved both Patrick and Nualla. The story alternates between their POVs and it works so well! You really do need to get both sides of the story since Nualla's world is very different to the world Patrick knows. This book managed to make me laugh at lot more than I had expected! Even just little things when Nualla and her friends hang out, they jet off to Las Vegas!

This book surprised me again and again. I didn't see anything coming and was always shocked by the little twists. The plot is intricate yet it's not at all confusing. I enjoyed getting to know all the characters, from the main ones right down to the ones that only appeared once or twice. There is a lot going on in Daemons in the Mist and there is certainly never a dull moment! Patrick and Nualla do some silly things and don't think things through very well at the start but it's all very funny. I especially loved the reactions of Nualla's family.

Clearly, I very much enjoyed this one! It was so entertaining yet  it was also dark and serious when it needed to be. I'm very glad I got the opportunity to check this lovely gem out!

  1. Sounds like an interesting book. I like the use of fog and mist to conceal. Fog can be so unsettling to drive in since you don't know what's coming.

  15. Sounds like a really cool read. I know the author emailed me about this tour but I passed it off for my co-blogger Bianca to read and review. Maybe I'm going to have to rethink my decision and pick up a copy of the book for myself. I love when we get to see things from the male character's point of view so I hope his parts actually felt like being in the mind of a guy.

Thanks for the awesome review, glad you enjoyed it!
