I can see how towards the end you got bored with it, because I feel the same way when there's too much talking and not enough doing in a book. I loved the gentle humour. I loved the characters, not only Ed and Lucy. Like the couple about to break up because he thought it funny to egg her on end-of-year muck-up day(an Australian tradition for last day of high school). This, Ibelieve, is based on a true incident. It has a little more depth than you'd expect of this kind of story and got a well- deserved Honour Book in the Children's Book Council of Australia. If you don't intend to read it again, how about a giveaway? BTW, I HATE that cover! The Aussie one with the spray paint can is much better.Sue Bursztynskihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09362273418897882971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2072943028188750781.post-58680819459869320092012-04-06T22:51:34.378+01:002012-04-06T22:51:34.378+01:00Nice review :)Nice review :)alreem @ (AlreemBookChapters)https://www.blogger.com/profile/18368604527786343456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2072943028188750781.post-76186303692795903302012-04-06T19:30:25.387+01:002012-04-06T19:30:25.387+01:00Ooh I might have to check this book out...Ooh I might have to check this book out...Molly the Disney Freakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00481734982541925357noreply@blogger.com
